Vienna Secession building at night

Special Programs at Austrian Museums from October 3 – 10

The famous “Long Night of Museums” will be a bit different this year. To avoid the crowds, it was expanded to a whole week when uncountable museums are offering special programs, discounts, extras for children, etc. The new name is “Museumszeit” (Time for Museums) and it takes place from October 3 – 10.

Some of our partners as well as an artist from our digital exhibition are participating: In Vienna, the Secession is offering two special guided tours about Beethoven (registration until October 1 via e-mail: kunstvermittlung@secession.at, tour in German!). If you want to learn about the Secession in general, take a look at our media guide – you can use it at home or on location.

At the Kunsthaus Graz, you can take a tour (in German) and learn about the architecture of this unique building, from October 6 to 10, three times a day. Registration is also mandatory! If you can’t make it, you find all information in our digital guide!

Anna Schmoll is a young artist from Austria who has participated in our digital exhibition Vienna United. She is part of the exhibition “Verspielte Zeit” (Playful Time) at Galerie Augenblick in Kirchberg/Wagram. On October 3 they are offering special tours, performances, as well as the finissage.
