That was the Travel TEC 2022

The only trade fair with IT solutions for hotels and travel companies, Travel TEC, took place on May 16, 2022, and of course we were there!

Digital Solutions for Tourism

Travel TEC took place within the framework of the Austrian Tourism Days: For a whole day, you could meet around 40 exhibitors from the fields of technology, tourism, and the hotel industry, from established companies to innovative start-ups. The initiators Gregor Kadanka (Managing Director, Mondial), Wilfried Kropp (Managing Director, Kropp Kommunikation), and Markus Schauer (Managing Director, msplus.at) are pleased to have created a live platform in 2022 where companies can network with each other.

The range of topics and areas of expertise was wide, from chatbots to travel accounting for business customers, to innovative booking platforms, with two stages set up for exhibiting companies to give short presentations.

Cultural Places at Travel TEC 2022

Travel and technology? Exactly our field! Our digital platform (web and app) provides the technical infrastructure that cultural organizations and travel companies can use to deliver their content in a simple and targeted way. These include digital audio guides and ticketing, which have been met with great interest.

The informal atmosphere was perfect for walking from booth to booth and having conversations with interesting companies, and the event was rounded off with an opportunity to network over wine and nibbles.

We are already looking forward to Travel TEC 2023!
